The radio is asking for the code that enables it to work. its a theft deterrent, nothing to do with engine. If you have had the battery disconnected or the radio out you will get the CODE display. one more thing, I don't get that pressure release sound when I open the gas cap. Could there also be a leak? i am going with the gas cap first since it is cheapest. Any other thoughts?

I have an evap system code on a 96 850 turbo. Could this code include the gas cap? I know that someone on here also mentioned the evap control valve.

the brand name of the brakes were Albany

they were from autozone, and i did not replace the rotors
