Skymongrel, I also have a 2007 S80. Can you tell me where the PEM is? It’s not in the right rear wheel well or under the back seat. Read it might be on top of the plastic fuel tank but have to remove a lot of items in order to lower the tank.

TPMS-Tire Pressure Monitor Sensors
I just bought some custom wheels for my 07 S80. Can anyone tell me if I need TPMS's? Or could I get by without them and not have an annoying alarm or light? Also, if I do need them, will the lesser expensive aftermarkets work just as well as the Volvo OEM?Thanks

Re: replacement shocks for S80 2.4 Auto year 2001
I put Monroe sensatracs on all four corners on my 2000. Still handles very nicely and they have a lifetime warranty. Replace whenever they get weak just by calling Monroe for replacements. Be sure to keep all your original receipts! Bought mine from Rockauto.com. VERY reasonable.

Re: 2008 S80 Oil Filter- Any ideas?
My 07 is quite a bit different than my 2000. Instead of underneath the car the filter is accessed from the top of the engine, passenger side, near the front by the dip stick, just under the power steering fluid resevoir. The PS resevoir slides vertically out of the mount. Under it you'll see the fil...

2007 S80 Headlight adjustment
Can anyone tell me how to adjust 2007 S80 headlights? I figured out the whole light assembly comes out by pulling the two retaining pins. I have the directional low beans that turn when the car turns. The left side is too low on low beam. Need to move yup and to the lift slightly.

Re: Tire Scrubbing
I have a 2000 with 17's. 187,000 miles and haven't experienced anything like this. I'll bet the strut and spring change will take care of it for you.

Re: Lights on steering wheel buttons not working???
You are correct fine sir! They don't have lights. When I first got my 2000 I thought I'd never get used to it. I drive a lot at night for work and learned them by touch in no time. Did take a few map light and dome light turn ons at 75 mph though!
My 07 has them and I LOVE it!

Re: 2008 S80 wheels
pj8708, the lower the profile tire the firmer the ride....that's for sure. Personally I don't mind the 18's on my 07 or the 17's on my 2000. But the smoothest ride is definitely with my 16 inch rims that I run my snow tires on my 2000. They are a higher profile, more side wall, so they absorb more i...

Re: 2008 S80 wheels
I have a 2000 that came with 16's. I kept them for my winter tires and got aftermarket chromed aluminum 17's for my summer tires. The 17's don't have a bad ride at all. I just bought a 2007 with factory 18's. While the ride is more firm I don't find it too rough for this 48 year old! :-) Talk to a t...
