Sometimes - but not always - the door locks do not operate remotely. I could be wrong about the pattern but it seems that when the weather is especially hot, the operation fails. Although I did not have any issues last summer.
What do you think?

Re: Headlight Adjustment
It's an aftermarket..,,looks like the other one adjusts. Another problem is that the rear adjuster pops off the back when the adjuster is being turned counterclockwise! Bizarre design. Was hoping to replace with original adjuster....tried removing it to no avail. Anyone know how to remove it or if i...

Headlight Adjustment
Folks - installed new headlight assembly, looks great. However the beam height is way too high. I see the adjustment screw behind the fixture but no matter which way I turn it, the beam does not adjust. Am I doing something wrong or is there something else to it? For that matter, I notice the same b...

Rotors
Folks - - looking for moderately priced but reliable rotors. Checked IPD....in their "Standard" replacement rotors category....that first row are front rotors (which is what I need). I see a huge price drop for the Meyle....should I stay away from those? The other choice is Zimmerman. Othe...

Re: Hot when idling, normalizes when giving gas
Thanks all.
RSPI - yes, I mean that the needle runs past the halfway point but not maxed...no steam from under hood. Maybe the coolant smell is indeed coming from the water pump. I'll have to check.

Hot when idling, normalizes when giving gas
Folks - symptom just started this past week....when driving along, the temp seems ok....but at a stop light or idling for a while, engine gets hot. Yes the fans are working. I smell coolant but must be just vapor because fill level on overflow tank is fine. Any ideas? Was thinking thermostat, maybe ...

Re: Hood Latch Issues
Well I finally got around to adjusting the latch down....the hood now releases about 4 out of 5 times....which is much better than 0 out of 5. I can't adjust it down any further so my next step will be to glue a rubber gasket or washer to the bumper. Thanks for all the input in this thread....BIG HE...

Re: Fuse box diagram
Rob - thanks for pointing that out....didn't realize it was charted out...man, Volvo comes up big in the user-friendliness department. Sure enough, the fuse was blown. Purchased new one and installed. Hopefully the previous owner shorted it by getting it wet or something and that it's not a systemic...

Fuse box diagram
Folks - - i looked for a fuse cross-reference in the owner's manual to no avail...also searched this site. Does anyone know where I can find such a thing? The front 12V adapter/socket is not working (rear works fine) and I'm hoping it's a fuse issue. Need to know which fuse.
Thanks!
Thanks!
