Aaahh.. Glad to know I can use the Toyota Type IV ( 3309) I can have good sleep tonight :) JDS60R, Yes..there's ATF cooler now. Many friends fit the extra ATF cooler long time ago on their T5s . I guess,the original radiator cooler did not do well in hot climate..thus extra ATF cooler is good to have.

Thank you After the 3rd gearbox rebuilt & filled with Toyota Type IV ATF, I drive the car for 900 miles. Can feel the shifting is smoother. Atf level at dipstick also never get low and the color still maintain pink & clean. Also during the 3rd rebuilt, I asked mechanic to fit extra ATF coole...

Good day My car is year end 1999 S70-2.0T , with 163 bhp and 230nm. I think this model found only in Asia market. Not much info I get from net. The weakest point is auto gearbox. Already rebuilt for three times. It's AW 50-42 LE which is 4 speed (without Sport / Economy mode) I do read previous post...

just curious because looking at Japanese turbo cars, majority of intercoolers are exposed directly at the front to recieve incoming air,with no restriction.

I wonder, whether the intercooler is getting enough incoming air ..

The intercooler is sandwiched between condenser and radiator.

Is this bad because it restrict air..?

Why Volvo put it in the middle?

Can I upgrade the 13T turbo to 850/V70 T5 turbo
(If not mistaken TD04-15) without upgrading my car ecu, injectors, fuel pump and exhaust system ?
