I have a suspicion that the tires are to blame! Thanks for pointing that out. Nice tread but when it comes to breaking the would slide like I was on ice. No noise of screeching tires or rubber! Bloody dealer must have grabbed second hand ones!!! Not happy. Thanks for the encouragement.

Looks like there is just one adjuster bolt and the alternator has to be levered with something?

I'm having trouble seeing the adjuster nuts on my alternator for the alternator belts. I have a 242DL 1984.
There is one nut on the front below the alternator and one above - nothing that looks like and adjuster? Thanks
