Maf sensor, S70 T5, 1997

Hey guys, Just changed my maf sensor as the fault code came up recently, I put in the new one today as I was anxious to see if there was an improvement but their doesn't seem to be much difference. My mechanic is going to reset the fault code tomorrow for me-will that have an affect or should I see ...

Thanks for the reply-the donor car is a 2litre 850GLT manual, and the car I have now is the S70 T5 again manual.

I replaced the air in my tyre's with nitrogen-my local tyre store provides this service-make's a big difference to road noise, and handling actually-tyre's seem to 'roll' less in corners-cost me

1997 S70 T-5-MAF sensor

Just a quick question-probably stupid but, will the MAF sensor from an 850GLT replace one from the S70? Just curious as I have a brand new MAF sensor from my previous 850.
Thanks.

S70 T5

Hi Folks, I've an absolutely mint 1997 S70 T5. Before this I had an 850GLT, thing is -I'm a little dissappointed in the sound of the T5 relative to the 850-it had such a lovely hum at idle and the lovely throaty sound from the engine under acceleration. The T5 just seems more muffled/muted, and I'd ...

No I haven't dumped any codes-this happened a few months back and went away for a while. To be honest if it is just the tratction control then I'm not really bothered, because even when it's on it's pretty easy to get wheelspin. I suppose one thing to note is that it never turns itself off when driv...

Yeah it's a European car and it's the TRACS light that stays on. So is this a sensor problem-what part is it I need to get repaired do you think?
Thanks.

S70T5

Hello Folks, I've an S70T5, 1997-absolutely faultless until recently. It's minor problem but I'm not sure if it's something I need to have looked at. When I start the car lately, the traction control is turning itself off-doesn't happen every time-maybe 50% of the time. Any one seen this before-shou...

I had exactly this issue-and I changed all the parts you have-after this it also seemed to make the problem worse, I get stalling also. I'm planning on changing the throttle position sensor and the air idle valve. When I unplug the throttle position sensor the revs rise to above 1000rpm and stabilis...
