Re: 1997 850 GLT Start up, Idle and running Trouble
Yes, I did fix my problem,... I completely over thought this whole issue. My Fuel pressure tested good the 1st time I tested it, but after days of trying new parts I rechecked the fuel pressure and it was very low. Turns out the upper hose clamp that conects the fuel pump to the outlet plate nipple,...

Dual Climate Problem
Hey guys, you've been right on the money helping with all my other issues,... Thought I'd throw this one at you, My 97 850glt has dual climate control. No matter how I set the controls, the drivers side dash vent blows hotter than the passengers side. I don't have AC right now because of a bu...

Re: 97 850 glt Rear Brake Sensors Removal
HOLY CRAP.... It worked.
I opened the ABS module and resoldered the pins... Reinstalled and took it for a spin. At 20 mph, the ABS and TRAC light went out and did not come back on.
I guess the has solved my issue .
OH YEAH!
Thanks everyone.

Re: 97 850 glt Rear Brake Sensors Removal HELP!?
Well, from all I've been able to find... you just take out the 10mm bolt and slip the sensor out of the hole,... Humm, It's not working for me. It's like that sucker is glued in with some Strong glue.... It guess brake dust has heat welded it in. Also after a lot of searching, it seems that the ABS ...

97 850 glt Rear Brake Sensors Removal
I am having an ABS/TRAC light issue. I removed the front sensors... very nasty and greasy. I cleaned them,... all shiny now and put them back in,... Took the car around.... lights still on. I decided to remove and clean the rear sensors... removed the 10mm bolt... expecting to wiggle it right on out...

Re: vacuum line questions
Ok. Thanks. I have come to the conclusion there could be 3 things causing my cars hesitation. 1). Weak or failing fuel pump 2). Bad regulator at pump 3). Turbo Boost Solenoid (I disconnected The wires from it and there was absolutely no change in the crappy performance. What are the symptoms of a ba...

Re: vacuum line questions
OK. I bit the bullet and Pulled the Manifold. I was amazed to find ALL the lines on the PCV/OILTRAP were in GREAT shape. I was also surprised how easy it was to to pull the intake,... was off in 20 minutes. I was able to reach everything from up top. Toughest bolt was dip stick... Any way... the ins...

Re: vacuum line questions
It's amazing this car was running at all - even as poorly as it was.... 90% of the vaccuum lines looked decent, until you moved them, and then they would just crumble. The Hard tube (on the Sheath with the larger one - PVC/Oil Trap???) ..that runs under the manifold was so brittle it will snap in 1 ...
