Valve Spring Compression Tool for Sale (in Canada)
Hi there, I've got a KTC valve spring compression tool for sale in Canada. I used it to change the valve stem seals on my 96 850 Turbo. This tool is in perfect working order, used only for the one repair. Cost online is $50USD, (currently $65 CAD). I can ship this tool to you, and it will come from ...

Re: 99 s70 SRS light "Reset"
Found you little bugger. I was looking for this post. It's probably against forum policy to ask here as well, so I'm just going to redirect (I'm looking to reset my SRS light on '96 850). https://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/forums ... 71#p288571

Re: SRS reset - SRS reset '96 not on OBDII?
Does this mean I can't reset the SRS light on a '96 850 using OBDII? (on a different post I was asking about the cable and the software to reset this, but it looks like even if I had the cable I wouldn't be able to do it on my volvo).

Re: SRS Reset procedure - Which OBDII cable and software?
Hi everyone, my SRS light recently came on, just out of the blue (not after a repair). I expect the fault to be in the seat belt. I'm going to clean the contacts. Somewhere here on MVS, someone mentioned in a similar post, that you can just buy a $15 cable and use (hacked?) software to reset the SRS...

Re: Feels like clutch slipping, but I have an automatic. Wha
Gentlemen, you were right. The fluid was very dirty. Here my tips for doing the job (most of you will know this, but in case someone that has never done it reads this). Cleanliness: an oil change pan really works wonders. Make sure you aim it well, the oil shoots out pretty good. The quicker you can...

Re: Feels like clutch slipping, but I have an automatic. Wha
I checked with U-Haul on the weights and everything. The box was actually lighter than an open trailer.
I'll keep you updated on what happens when switching the fluid. I'm hopeful it will still make a change.

1996-97 850 Volvo hood, Silver
Hi there, I've got a 96-97 Volvo hood in silver. I wanted to use it for my car (my hood has some dings), but I won't have the time to use this one. $20, pick up only (sorry, I don't think shipping this thing is practical, unless you can tell me how). Condition: has some scratches in the clear coat, ...

Re: Automatic Transmission (Clutch) slipping - Don't do this
So this was the culprit. There was not much weight in the trailer, and it was in the deepest of winter, so I'm not sure how much overheating of the transmission oil would have happened. The tow went fine, although the roads were iced over, a heck of a machine that 850. (I actually think that kicking...

Re: Feels like clutch slipping, but I have an automatic. Wha
I always knew that something was wrong, I'm a pretty decent tech, and I know that something does not lock up properly. For now, I'll just do a fluid change and take it easy on the car. Can I not change the plates in my tranny? Then I'd know at least that they are new. In a used tranny I never know h...
