Does one have significantly less miles on the OD? Very hard call, but if you know the history of the 850 I would keep the it. For maintenance, I would argue the 850 is about the same as a 240. Some jobs are a lot easier on the 850, like taking a door panel off, changing a heater fan, or heater core ...

When I've had alternators go, I have never had the time luxury, all I have done is go to the autoparts store with one in stock and remove/replace the old one. I even did one in a parking lot on my 240.

I was more wondering about space to route from the nipple then out from under the TB linkage, the line would be going opposite the OEM line running under the intake, and then the run the right side of the intake manifold (RH wrt to the driver) seems the easy part. i'll give it a try tomorrow.

Has anyone tried the cigar method of finding a leak? I thinking of putting a hose on one of the nipples on the vacuum line tree and blowing cigar smoke into it to hunt for the P0402 small leak code.
