Re: 05 XC90 V8, how to identify ps pump leaks
Nothing showing on rack bellows. One is torn from wreck and needs replacing asap. Finally did see some dye near bellhousing hole tonight. Weird thing is it is also like a dusting of fluorescent pixie dust near front cover and above oil drain plug around oil pan mating surface. Starting to think fron...

Re: 2005 XC90 V8, rebuilt after wreck, change transmission f
I ended up not doing a drain and refill this go round. I added a little extra fluid and hooked my monitor up and verified correct transmission temperature and remove level plug and let excess drain out to proper level. Based on what I added (.5 liter per dice) and what came out which was about same ...

05 XC90 V8, how to identify ps pump leaks
I have an 05 with V8 that I just got back together after a decent little wreck. Prior to wreck I had a leak going when I would take plastic cover off to change oil. It was just enough to attract dirt and need cleaning but never dripped. Cover has been off since repairs and I am noticing oil indicati...

2005 XC90 V8, rebuilt after wreck, change transmission fluid
My daughter wrecked her 05 XC90 V8 back in July. Had full coverage and they totalled it out due to estimated $8900 repair bill. All this wreck did was damaged front right side of front clip and right side fender destroyed. Right wheel came off too along with everything attached to it. Half shaft pul...

Re: 2006 XC90 V8 stalling & misfiring
I would certainly try Volvo sensors and see if the codes for cat come back then if they do see about having cat swapped out under warranty. Shouldn't fail in 1 year.

Re: 2010 XC90 Transmission fluid change issue!
I am monkeying with my plug presently and someone stripped the torx threads in mine. New plug and new drain/level check on way from dealer. Yours may have shown high if fluid was not 50 to 60 Celsius. If it was hotter than than it will expand more and flow out. Not sure which order for hoses. I have...

Re: Dice reads but not sure it changes settings
Hmm. Ok. That stinks! Well, at least I can read and clear codes and change little things I suppose. Plus see trans temp when checking and changing fluid so that is worth the cost I suppose. I was just hoping to have more control over features but hey, I can change the seat heater temps. ...

Re: Dice reads but not sure it changes settings
It is a 2005 model. What is the "forced write" procedure? I am unfamiliar with that. I thought you just clicked the vct2000, changed the setting and hit "start" to write it. When you say key cycle do you mean it will not register even though programmed until the car is restarted?...

Dice reads but not sure it changes settings
Hi, I have till tommorrow at 6pm to open a dispute with ali express regarding my Dice unit. I am using Windows 7 32 bit and 2013A Vida and it reads the vehicle, will read settings and temps for oils and all that stuff but things like changing DRL's don't take. I hit the vct2000 symbol, select option...

Re: Dice connects and works but won't reset adaptives
Thank you for that information. I will have a look at that when I get in from work tonight. As far as the last "adaptive reset counter" where would I locate that? I went thru all the tcm options including parameters and advanced and saw no place that would indicate time since adaptive were...
