The CD player isn't working. It won't play any CD. I try to eject the CDs and get a CD ERROR message. I tried popping out the fuses to reset but it didn't help any. Anyone have any ideas? I had same problem on my 2000 S80 2.9. First the dealer reloaded the program on the comupter chip, this seemed to have fix the roguh iddle problem for a while. Second I just added one of the fuel system cleaners to a full fuel tank and this has fixed my rough iddle for the past six month.

Final note, the cost for changing this including labor at the dealer would be +/- US$70.00, this is what the invoce showed (extended warranty paid)

I picked up the car Friday afternoon, he commented that he had heard about the recall but that Volvo had not yet sent the tech alert to all the service dealers. He was waiting for this to take action, the alert would specify part numbers, etc. that are required to be changed.

Thanks for the answer, luckily enough for me I took my car for normal service and asked about this, they said it was the small electrical blower at the temp sensor in the A/C controls.
