1973 164E WANTED: Heater control valve
Is anyone able to part out a heater control valve for this car? I'm a bit skeptical about the kit that is being sold to replace the old style valve. I've seen some bad views regarding the kit. 1986 240DL starts but won't idle longer than about a second
The car starts quickly then quits after 1 or 2 seconds. Cranking the starter again right away repeats the symptoms. Stepping on the accelerator while the starter cranks gives higher revs but only for a second or two, then quits.
