Re: Cylinder 5 misfire on start

Move injector, plug to another cylinder? Did you do a compression test? Might be an exhaust valve not sealing properly?

I think this section is in the MVS abyss? Posts do not show up on the Home Page section on the right showing the most recent Posts.
There's a shortcut called "New Posts", it is easy peasy lemon squeeze to find this post. I don't know why no one responds.

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?

$46 isn't TOO awful I guess, but a lot for a mandatory inspection. Up to $80 though? DAMN! That's just one more reason I'd never live in CA! Most Miata drivers only have to pay 70% of that $21 for safety plus emissions in nYS I'll wear a skirt next time  I only pay about 50% of that anyway, I ...

In the dropdown under the text "Avatar type:", the only option available is "Gallery Avatar". I can't find any way to upload one. Whatever I dont give a $hit anymore.

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?

I love those old GTIs... I really want a VW. I've been looking at Corrados lately... almost picked one up, but ended up buying the S70 because I have a Volvo addiction! $30 off a Smog test? How much do they charge you guys for those that they can give you $30 OFF the price? Emissions testing here c...

White lightning beats the smog station again. Flawless victory. πŸ‘πŸ˜€πŸ’₯
Beautiful Car. Kind of like June's white S80 T6. Does CA still use the in-ground Dyno rollers on the drive wheels?
I think so yes, I wasn't paying too much attention though. Where I used to smog they had rollers.

Re: AC Delete 99 S70 N/A - (Seized Compressor)

The path of least resistance in my mind is to grab a replacement compressor from a pick-n-pull. Hooking the lines back up will help to keep the crap out of them. If it was just the clutch bearing that seized up and the compressor didn't grenade internally then it is really easy to pull a good vacuu...
