I am finally back to working on this XC90 and it still has me stumped. Any advice?

Battery is at 12.4VDC.

Light switch is off.

Hi all, looking for some advice, don't really know where to begin with this one. I bought this in December, had a broken front axle, would not start when I looked at it. Long story short, I was able to purchase it for next to nothing. Had it towed home, replaced the broken axle, threw a fresh batter...

I just double checked that I am getting no spark.... and for fun I tried a noid light to find out that I am also getting not injector pulse...

I am trying to determine if my camshaft position sensor is indeed bad. Can anyone tell me what the resistance should be between 2 of the 3 pins on the sensor? I took it off, no obvious defect... but resistance is infinite between any 2 of the 3 pins. 1994 850 NA It's cranking, getting fuel... won't ...

I just ordered a replacement key for my 1994 850 from Hendrick Volvo of Kansas City for only $8.95 plus $3.50 shipping. I emailed them a copy of the title and my driver's license, called them with my credit card number... Sure beats the $125 my local Volvo dealer wanted! It pays to do some research....

One more quick update. After clearing the codes... No More Flashing Arrow! Transmission is shifting very smoothly, love the sport mode and the winter mode should be useful.

Update, I finally got the time to investigate this more. After locating the VSS (it's on the top of the transmission just above where the passenger side half shaft slides into the transmission, accessible from underneath the car only.) I planned on removing it, cleaning it, etc... But, I found that ...
