2003 S40 Toyota neutral safety switch
Ever since I have had my Volvo, I have had intermittent starting problems. At first I thought it was the immobilizer or other things but I became convinced that it was the neutral safety switch. So today I pulled mine and to my surprise, I had a Toyota part installed #84540. Well it has been working...

Re: S40 fan speed erratic
On my 03 S40, I had a bad actuator which I replaced but mine still runs eratic minus the annoying click from the old actuator.
I find that it runs well in 2-3 above 3 it becomes more eratic

2003 S40 Intermittent starting issues
I have researched and read here and many other places regarding this problem. My first and last thoughts are immobilizer. Does the immobilizer also disable fuel as well as the starter? I read that it does but that may be for another year? Reason I ask is because some here posted that they ran a wire...

Re: 2003 S40 19843 0301 Barking dog syndrome
No doubt about it, it is the blend door. After drilling through the plastic panel behind glove compartment I have access to the blend door. It seems to function normally, it opens or closes smoothly but when it arrives at it's final resting spot on left hand side, the clicking begins. I will take a ...

Re: 2003 S40 19843 0301 Barking dog syndrome
I have done a search on all the part numbers I can read but all seem to be relays and such. This is
the number MR146583 but I do not see anything that looks like it, Last picture on the right shows where noise is coming from.

Re: 2003 S40 19843 0301 Barking dog syndrome
The clicking noise is coming from the far right but the only place that has arms that move is to the far left in picture. The second picture has blower motor but no blend door actuator that I can see. Can anyone point to where it would be on a 2003 S40
TIA

2003 S40 19843 0301 Barking dog syndrome
I am not sure what is going on, it happens every time the car is started. It lasts about 6-9 seconds and then does not happen again when car is running. On a long trip it has reared it's head about once or twice while running. I have read this forum well and am not sure if it is the Blend door actua...

Re: VIDA 2012B VMWare Player Image
The main thing I want Dice/Vida for is to reprogram key fob for my 2003 S40, I guess what I meant are they independent of each other or should they be used in tandem. As an example, my Forerunner can be synced with my PC at any time, can Dice as well or should it be run together in car? Thanks ........
