there is no codes or engine warning light on,,,,,,,im in england,
im going to do a oil change at the weekend and flush it see if i can clear some crap out of the cylinders who knows it might work thanks for the help

got the garage to do a compression test today the test was

cylinders(1)=180 (2)=180 (3)=180 (4)=190 (5)=185

any ideas if there is something wrong
mileage is 180442

hi again as any one used or heard of AMETECH ENGINE RESTORE OIL - ENGINE RECONDITIONING,,,,,,,,does it work as im thinking of getting some,,,?

hi,,,there is 180426 miles on the clock,,the oil fouling is on number 4 cylinder i only noticed it when the engine stalled and i tryed to start it when i was in traffic, got it going but sounded like a train,so i checked the plugs and found number 4 plug with oil on it,cleaned it the engine ran ok ...

need advice on this problem oil fouling on 1 spark plug,,,i had a crank pressure which i sorted out but still getting a bit of a blow back from the dip stick,if 1 of the piston rings is worn could this cause oil fouling on the plugs or is the oil fouling down to worn valve stem seals ...

hi lift the dip stick when the engine running if there is a mist you might need to change it,the flame trap is number 13 on the pic nr the air filter houseing hope this helps

grt it looks alot better than the hyanes manal and easy to read and understand not like the haynes,

hi just change the oring,volvo seem to remove them to stop the posibility of blow back ie crank pressure,thats what i was told
