thanks for the quick reply Abacate.
Regarding Bosch copper for a turbo are you just solidly old school or cheap like me? Or do you not think the OEM Platinum are no better? I have a turbo XC70. Also what gap do you set and does it change and get larger (or smaller) ? I intend on buying from FCP ...

Re: New How-To: Install Spark Plugs 850/S70/V70/C70
How often do you folks replace your spark plugs if not experiencing misfires? Are there signs it's time?
What might do new plugs do for mileage or performance?
thanks, Steve

06' XC70 Front sway bar broke - replacement options
The OEM front anti-sway bar broke (it’s hollow- not solid?) and I want to replace with either new OEM or preferably used. According to FCP the OEM bar for my 2006 T5 XC70 is Volvo part #31262929.

Upgrade to HU-803 and KEEP steering wheel controls
Hello,
I currently have a HU-613 radio installed in my 2006 XC70 and I want to find a HU-803 from a junk donor car that will still allow for me to use the steering wheel controls. I think I read that the steering controls will work if the 803 comes from another estate wagon style body but will not ...

Re: Stymied by torx security screw on MAF
Old post but I want to let those still seeking the correct bit - it's not the commonly available security / tamper proof 6 POINT torx screw bit. It's a 5 POINT star (pentalobe) security screw, a security pentalobe. A TS-25. There are bit sets for under $10 on Amazon.

Re: 2006 V70 -- Low Beam Blues
My 2006 xc70 2.5T has the 1/8 COUNTER-clockwise turn. Put the electrical connector on first. I found a YouTube video that showed a guy taking the brain box out (leaving the ECU and TCM in place) but I didn't want to mess with that ( starting at 3:50 )

Re: Advice on what year and model to buy (wagon)
I'd like to resuscitate this old thread as I am wondering the same question as the O.P.
I have a '99 v70 XC whose days are numbered as the trans. has decided not to have a Reverse option anymore. I would like to stay clear of new model changes that had problems. I do want an estate/ station wagon ...
