Volvo shift to neutral at stops override
Does anyone know where to go into the computer/scan tool to turn off the automatic put in neutral when you get to a stoplight?

Re: 07' XC70 Vibration under load, uphill or accelerating
If this helps your conscience I drove with non-matching tires from Lincoln Nebraska to Grand junction Colorado and back to Lincoln Nebraska again. All four tires were to the radials bald at some point but I made it. Some vibrations on the way home. Just remember these Volvos in times of need can be ...

Re: 07' XC70 Vibration under load, uphill or accelerating
I always drive 01 or 02 XC70 wagons. I've had problems with different tires wear patterns in pinches. The vibration is most certainly your tires. Especially if you've been messing with the suspension travel. If it got worse when you switched those tires then it's obviously your tires. CV joints usua...

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?
I finally repaired my 2001 Volvo V70 XC wagon throttle body. Or electronic throttle module. After I tried to open it and messed it up. Curiosity killed the cat and it killed my throttle body. Anyway if anyone else has had this problem with an 01 model get a hold of me it's not too hard to fix.

Re: Throttle Position Sensor Limp Mode
I know this is way too late. But I just got done going to the same process on an 01 V70 XC wagon throttle body. I popped the throttle position sensor off and broke a wire inside. After getting a new one from out of state I saw where I broke a wire. I repaired it on my old one because the one I order...

If it went out after the extra chemicals you put in id do a complete drain and fill. Then another and maybe another. Not all additives are good for our cars. Change filter of course. Does it feel like its going into gear but still does nothing?

1997 v70xc
Got a 97 v70xc. It blew out the oil dipstick and oil fill cap a few years back cause the cat was clogged. Pooped that open and it ran great for a few months. Although it leaked oil from a few seals. It sat for a few weeks and now has no power. Like no electric power. So...it would start with a jump ...

Have you traced all the wires to make sure there are no corroded or cut parts? And of course the fuses.

Re: V70 cooling fan p/n 30749759
I've replaced my the 01 70XC cooling fan with a junkyard S60 cooling fan of the same year and it worked great. Usually when the fan modulator goes bad they stay on full blast even when you turn off the car. If you can't get yours to work at all it could be a ECM problem. Good fortune to you.
