I put a voltage tester on main fuse terminal, and had voltage. Tested main relay and had voltage; removed ignition fuse to inspect and no visible breaks; put everything back and car mysteriously started. Drove home, but still don't know problem.

A few days ago I pulled out of the gas jumped on the gas, and the car shut off for a second, turned key, it started an ran for 2 minutes, then stalled again (all dash light went out). Waited a few, car started again, and took me a half mile. Parked car, and came back in three hours, started car and ...

My daughter called and told me her V70 T5 suddenly quit running while on the freeway. I called a tow truck, and by the time it arrived, we were able to start the car, and drive it up the tow platform. Also able to drive it off the platform when we arrived home. It's not showing any codes. Any ideas?

No smell is evident. also, doesn't happen everytime.

My 98 V70 loses power usually after the startup in the am: car starts, then when I reverse and point in down the drive (in forward) all power is lost; Putting it back in park (or neutral) car starts and runs fine the rest of the day.
