Re: Wiper Fitment?
Every car manufacturer does this with certain things. Fitment is OEM only, so they and only they can make money from parts. Stuff like for example wipers are a classic OEM fitment only on Volvo. Re: Using right turn signal causes brights to come one
Hi.
Common problem with these cars.
Replace the blinker switch, and it should solve the problem.
I've replaced quite a few of these on costumer cars.

Re: After I replaced the leaking rear view mirror new host of fun symptoms
Try replacing the part back to the leaky mirror.
If the fault goes away, I'd say there's something wrong with the new mirror.
Or, It could be a software issue.
Did the instructions mention anything about VIDA update after install ?

Re: S70GLT Transmissions
Hi The auto transmissions on these arent the most reliable transmissions out there. But flushing them like you do every few years has a huge impact on the reliability. Thats what makes them survive. And offcourse only use approved oil. In europe, Volvo doesnt specify any change intervalls on transmi...

You get all the cool stuff over in Norway and Sweden I guess. I wish there was a nice stainless steel exhaust available for my 98' V70XC here in the US, not the cheap Chinese crap. Re: What did you do to your Volvo today? (now Sticky!!)
Changed my exhaust system on my 855 to a stainless steel and 2,5 inch from cat. Made a very nice sound and actually gave it a bit more omphh in the higher revs. :D Very nice! Did you get a custom job done or use an aftermarket exhaust? I used an aftermarket. Went with Simons exhaust (swedish brand,...

Re: Is 850 GLT springs stiffer than SE ??
There is no way I would trust some rumor that some 20 year old suspension springs are slightly shorter original spec. I know this for a fact, since I work at Volvo. I even have the catalogue All Volvo 850's had the option to be fitted with lowered sport springs with or without NIVOMAT These were 15...
