I went 3 full revs and intake cam is off by 1/2 a tooth. Hopefully that vvt sensor helps with the full sync. Otherwise i will have to loosen up the cam gear and move it a hair counter clockwise.

Some pictures of that automatic timing belt tensioner. 2.4i non turbo 2007. I just maybe have to center the fork for accuracy or something. Maybe i let go off the retaining pin too soon.

I honestly don't know if my comment would help determine if the valves are good or not but i think (assume) that if you take your cams off and all valve spring caps line up all the way at the top i believe that it is (maybe) a sign that the valves are sitting up flat at the cylinder head.
