New style timing tensioner adjustment

I have an 04 that has the newer style timing belt tensioner. I saw somewhere that said these are adjusted differently, one person said you rotate the allen wrench the opposite direction of the older style, but I can't find a single video that shows how to adjust these. Can someone help me out as I want to finish up the timing belt today.

Some pictures of that automatic timing belt tensioner. 2.4i non turbo 2007. I just maybe have to center the fork for accuracy or something. Maybe i let go off the retaining pin too soon.

I went 3 full revs and intake cam is off by 1/2 a tooth. Hopefully that vvt sensor helps with the full sync. Otherwise i will have to loosen up the cam gear and move it a hair counter clockwise.
