Re: Sealing the right side of a M66 AWD for a FWD setup.

You need a reverse hammer and your share of luck to remove collar sleeve from the differential. Leave it as is, it won't come out on its own. Angle/bevel gear has two seals that sit on the CV axle. Seller did a few snip snips here and there that it probably shouldn't have had so I'm gonna need to look into dealing with that. Also now i've gotta figure out how to make it happy in FWD (preferably without shelling out for an angle gear). What kind of snip snip are we talking about? [/quote] Wasn...

[pics] Doing an M66 auto->manual swap, questions regarding FWD

So as the title says I finally sourced an M66 gearbox to stick into the meme machine but now i've got a few more questions as I'll be real i've never driven stick and certainly never installed one and I'm sort of having to google the hell out of everything along the way. Also, the seller did a bit o...

Delete all autotragic fragboxes.
Mr. Failz, Does this mean that you are going to swap a m66 box?
Yes.

Seriously though screw the autos on these things. Nothing but pain while it was pre-gravel filled.

Re: What did you do to your P2 Volvo today?

https://i.imgur.com/SUymcwv.jpg Now i've gotta go find t50 torx bits so I can take the torque converter off. Edit: Also, the peg that aligns the starter with the transmission casing was so stuck in there that while I was rubber malleting it out I actually cracked the bit of the trans casing that hol...
