I am having trouble with the radio/CD/ Aux...at radom times the radio system will cut off/out for several seconds with a sparking sound. The radio screen will say it is reloading whatever may have been playing at the time and then it will resume play. No rhyme or reason just random. Can happen when driving or parked - cold or hot... Last night it did it and now my ipod nano will not play at all - the radio screen reads it but the counter won't go - like it is paused...I am afraid the power surge from the car burned out something in the nano....
and
the A/C works great in cooler weather...but once above 70 degrees it is of little use...have an appointment with dealer tomorrow and previous owner had it looked into already...
suggestions please....

that car uses fiber optic network for audio componentry. The description you give is that of a car with a bad fiber optic lead or connection. Also could be one the AUM component. I doubt it was having power surges.
The audio system has self-diagnostics and will store codes for problems so a dealer is best equipped to deal with it.
The a/c in that car will frezze you out when working properly so there is something not right about it not being able to keep the car cool .
