Ok here is the update. I took out the Relay, Hooked a test light up to the negative side of the battery. I turned the A/C on and I tried probing the plugs. I have NO juice to the plugs in either vehicles. I do believe im stuck here guys lol Any and all help is appreciated.
That is not surprising. The cooling fan actuates when the yellow or yellow/white lines go to ground. Try shorting the relay positions on the yellow and the yellow/white wires (one at a time)to chassis ground and see what happens.

guys, I have similar problem. I got this 98 s70 last month with blown head gasket due to over heat. I just finished the head gasket replacement and now the car runs perfect. when i was studyn why it over heated i found my fan do not work. I have tested fan giving sepertate power, its works, i have tested the relays, they are good so the only possible could be no comand in the smaller two wires which goes to the middle relay. but I do not know where to look and how to look for the fault, all fuses are good.

temperture here is below 32(New england) these days.

Can any one help me!

forgot to tell now it doesnt over heat any more i have taken it to highway speed for a while. it remains middle of the gauge, I gues because of the cold weather, but the fan should still come on. am I right?
