I had a post earlier about a noise in the front of my car-passenger front to be exact.
I inspected the tire, no puncture or nails etc.
I took the wheel off and everything looked ok and in tact.
When I put the car in neutral and spun the wheel I noticed that the noise was located in the Rubber boot behind the rotor. It was like a high pitched squeal..hahah no other way to describe it.
When I drive the noise gets faster as the car increases speed...
Could that be a bad wheel bearing???
Any help in diagnosing would be great, Im not really familiar with diagnosing suspension problems.
Bad wheel bearing?

Hey Man I recently had a mystery problem in my front end too. For a squeak i would check the brakes if the noise changes when applied it is most likely the brake pads the have a small tab on them that will squeal when they get low. If the brakes are fine it is probably the wheel bearing. Iput the Cheap ones from Fcp groton on mine and and regreted when i had to replace them 3 months later Fcp Does have FAG brand they are the factory and worth shelling out the extra money for.

A bad bearing should be more like a "wah-wah-wah-wah" sound.
A high pitched squeal really sounds like the wear tab on the pads. Try pulling out the pads and see if the sound persists.

My Buick did that...kind of high-pitched chirp-chirp-chirp noise as you were driving. I attributed it to a bad wheel bearing, but it never was fixed before it was taken from me by a big mean truckWhen I put the car in neutral and spun the wheel I noticed that the noise was located in the Rubber boot behind the rotor. It was like a high pitched squeal
