What kind of power steering fluid is in my 850?

I need to add power steering fluid but found that it is light brownish. i just don't want to add the wrong fluid.

It's Dex-III Automatic Transmission fluid.

It shouldn't be brown. Get 2 qts of ATF and a turkey baster. Suck out all the old fluid and put some more in, then turn the steering lock to lock a few times. Repeat til the fluid is mostly red.

That's a whole lot of unnecessary effort, but you can do something similar to a transmission flush on it.

WHat about Type F ATF fluid? the turkey in Pepboys told me that is what I needed. I wanted to dump in some Castrol Dex III
