Re: Wiper blades (don't buy rain-x)
I bought two Rain-X blades from Ebay for only $22 with posting and they work great. I was suspicious of them at first believing they would be knock-offs but they are real.
Life would be enjoyable if it wasn't so painful to live.
Those Trico blades Jeff618 mentioned look pretty nice as retrofits... hope they last longer than the cheapo $3 inserts that I would otherwise get.
The PIAA silicone blades I bought a while ago are still holding up pretty well.

This is a problem with your wiper arms, not the blades. The wiper arms are bent. Very common issue on these cars.nadz wrote:I bought new wiper blades for my Volvo 850, I got the rain-x latitudes because I have heard so much good stuff about them. I just wanted to let you all know, do not buy them, they suck. The one on the driver side part of the windshield does not come into full contact with the glass resulting in poor visibility.
Ambitious but rubbish
I'm not so sure its bent arms...Rain-X Latitudes didn't work due to stiffness and the Trico NeoForms (as mentioned above) work well. Just sayin'...

i just got 2 anco blades for 10 bucks at walmart but the clips wouldn't hold into the arm so i had to use the old bosh clips from the new style 1 curved blade type that i had to bend my wiper arms for them to work, but just got these anco ones and they seem to work great with no adjustments. expect the clips suck lol!

I usually use bosch, use to get the micro-edge II. I got a couple of the rain-x blades and was in trouble when I got in some sleet. Those things could not get the job done. What I did realize is that they are lower profile than the Volvo blades. If you stand them up they are about 1/2 inch lower.

Brother's but now cousin's 2003 Crown Vic P71 Interceptor came with the Goodyear or style blades from Ford. Didn't like them too much back then but had no better choice at the time. Recently put some on from Costco and they are the best thus far ever purchased. Been putting blades on cars since 1978 so tried a few and had worked at Pepboys for 6 months at one time. Costco's Goodyear blades are Cheap besides the no questions ask money back if they do not work on your car.
Blessings,

yea i didn't have a to well experience with the new style Bosch kind. but they did last a while but had plenty of contact problems. i got it acceptable by bending the arm. got these new blades today really didn't get to test them out but i put my blades on and pulled water from my McDonald cup through a straw and blew it across the windshield and it did a perfect wipe the very 1st time [so it looks promising, we will just see how long they will last. i can use this post as a guideline when i bought them so lets see when ill be back
