Upper Engine Mount cost?

Post by Guest »

How much does an upper engine mount cost to replace on an S70? And how much should I expect at the Volvo dealer, including labor?

Year 98 will cost less. 99 and new will cost more. Prices vary from dealers to dealers. If you are going to get it fixed at the dealer, then just call them for prices.

I checked out a Volvo dealer in L.A. and the upper engine mount would cost approximately $75 for labor and $54 for the part.

You can go with an ipd mount, permanent, never needs replacement ($30)
and about a half hour labor, tops. However, being a poly bushing it WILL transmit a little vibration at idle.
Slightly noticable in an automatic, not really noticable in a manual
