93 850glt

i have a 93 850glt, car idles fine but as soon as i put my foot down it stalls and cant start it for about 15min,fuel pump sounds ok

Does the fuel pump works all the time?Do you actually hear it buzzing before the car dies?

You said that idle is fine.Does your rpm fluctuate up & down or it is steady?

Check engine light on?

In Tasmania it would likely be a "lambda light" but that is where I would start so that we can be of more help to you.

Pull codes from both ports A-2 and A-6 and post back the results.

no buzzing noises at all, rpm is fine,check engine light is off

code is saying no fault found. what is a lambda light? car come from south australia 6 months ago

Lambda light(european cars)=check engine light(us spec.cars).Since the car is from Australia,you maybe have us spec.check engine light instead of Lambda light(european check engine light).

It's the orange light with little green triangle in which is the Greek Lambda letter.

Do you actually hear that fuel pump is running?Do you hear it when you turn the key in ignition II for a second or two,before you start the car(you should hear it and that is called priming).When you prime it(key in ignition II),the fuel pump will run a second or two and than it will stop,then when you start the car it will run all the time.

i can not hear pump when sitting in drivers seat with engine running

We MUST know if fuel pump is running before the car dies.

My advice is to ask somebody to listen for it's "noise" in the trunk or beside right rear wheel.

When we are sure that fuel pumps is ok,then we can go further.
