how to replace my front brakes and rotors on my 850 volvo?

how to replace my front brakes and rotors on my 850 volvo?

i have never replaced brakes and rotors on a volvo is this an easy process? what kind of brakes pads are recommended?

Easy DIY job. I like the genuine Volvo pads, but they are dusty. The only tool you'll need is a 7MM hex socket and a regular metric socket set. I like the Brembo rotors. (just plain old rotors; not drilled) I usually get them from FCPGroton and like the previous post said, if you search here and on volvospeed.com, you'll pick up a ton of information. There's a lot of different choices out there for brakes and rotor and there's no one right choice for everyone, you'll read about a lot of different opinions.

Let me know if you can't find the right link - I was just out there a few nights ago studying their instructions as I have to do this job soon as well....
