BCM Throwing Codes in 2002 S60

Hello,

My 2002 S60 is throwing ABS and CEL lights. I took it to the local dealer, and for $85 they diagnosed a failing BCM that they will replace for $1450.

Anybody familiar with this problem? Are there any Volvo recalls or programs for this kind of computer failure?

Has anyone spent the $500 to have one repaired by XeMODeX Inc.? [ http://xemodex.com/xemodex_017 ~dot~ htm ]
