850 stalls once at running engine temp.

oops not a turbo.....
3 questions......

1. Has the engine just been redone? NO, it has 130,000 miles now

2. What does your rpm gage sit at on idle? 900 rpm at idle, 1100 at startup but goes down to 900rpm.

3. What does your rpm gage do at engine temp before it stalls?
Actually it will idle at 900. if I ease the gas, car will spudder and run up to 3000 rpm, if I release the gas the car runs bad, spudders and quits.
Engine temp is normal. From being cold start up. it takes about 20mins for the engine to act up. will quit once I press on the gas p. No check engine lights. I was wondering if it is the cam pos sens? I have replaced everything but the o2 and cam sensor. I thought, change O2 first. it is cheaper. but the cam sens is 135.00.

Haven't read anywhere in this post that you've replaced the ignition wires, plugs or rotor. These would be the things I would do next to see if it makes a difference. These things are typical maintenance items anyway and won't hurt you to be replaced. My thoughts are that when cold, the ignition wires are intact. As they warm up and expand, the wires somewhere are shorting. Anyway, just a thougt here.

I replaced the wires, plugs, cap and rotor last year with bosh wires, plugs

Bosch is all good except for ignition wires. Many who have used them have thrown them out due to inconsistent firing. They replace them with bougigard. (spell?) with good results. The Bougigard's are Volvo OEM btw.
