Does your model have exhaust studs or bolts?
When I replaced my headgasket I had to remove the exhaust manifold because of the studs.
Did you use new headbolts as well?

Yeah i noticed from your picture that you removed both manifolds. Mine has studs too but they all came out nicely. It was kindoff tricky keeping the 5 new exhaust seals in place while putting the head back on without the studs. I used new head bolts, and replaced every gasket, seal and o-ring i came across. I've drivin it all day in 90degree weather and its been perfect.
Its kindoff weird that in hindsight replacing the headgasket was cheaper than the radiator

i have exactly same problem on my S80 T6...exactly same...so i think i will take the head down...but is amazing i'm driving like this 80 000 km , but i think is going slowly worst and worst (more fluid comsumption)
