did put some BMW e36 Ci internals in my DOT headlights. I adjust them by using two pieces of m6 thread that are stickin out
of the back. It was a easy and pleasant fix giving me a lot of light already, before putting in HID.

Is the electrical plug the same? Did you need to cut any plastic to achieve this? Must say the result looks similar to a HID and very unusual though looks great at the same time.

There was a little bit of cutting at the back, because the lenses and reflector go in a little deeper. Only did put in the inner part
of the BMW . It's just a frame that you put in and connect to the Volvo wires in the Volvo headlamp. So you keep the original connector.

Those look REALLY good. I'm sure they are a vast improvement over stock. One thing you might want to think about is getting non-diffused headlight lenses (i.e. clear glass). the BMW headlights are designed to distribute the light beam unassisted by a headlight lens for optimum efficiency. Adding the diffused factory Volvo lense over the BMW assemblies will diffuse light that is essentially allready diffused. In other words, your lighting will be better with clear lenses. I know Lucky sells them on the ARD website (I no affiliation with him other than being a customer.)

Hi,

diffusing is minimal. When i adjusted them on a Bosch headlight tester, the image i should have was perfect (european headlights)

I used american DOT headlights from Volvo which have much clearer glas then european ones. they were a gift from someone
who imported a US spec volvo.
