Rethinking, the grief of jy and then anticipation of working with the kit is taking toll.
After taking the measurement for SRS, the five fasteners that were soaking PB, I decided to turn these loose few threads last night.

The head of four bolts are round, the one front passenger side received enough of the leaking ps fluid that it is coming loose. Anticipating troubles ahead I have stopped.

Only if Bill To: box is pre populated with the name of a friend from Omaha, NE.
J.A.C Rack (Jorgen?) is a good start to make this a cost effective project, then 3Ts - time, tools, and techniques would take me through.
Working in heated garage, but outside is arctic cold with blowing wind.

Arm hurts, but the five bolts are off after paying close attention and not rushing.

For the stubborn, it took 1/4" left-handed drill bit, then 21/64" standard to pull it out. Maestro says use machine oil when drilling.

Took a wipe and cleaned the side facing rear, but did not see any other marking.

jy unit is TRW, I will ask local reman if he would rebuild?

Alternatively, is there a fitment check for SMI replacing TRW?

Subframe was lowered successfully.
There was honey like fluid coming out of passenger side front subframe bolt at about 10mm draw. Just a little, a cap full, did not drip on the floor, thick, wiped it clean.
What was this fluid.

The front bolts are loosened 18mm.

This measurement is while the rack is still on. The driver's side measures at 431-33mm, and passenger 424-26mm. Is the 6mm difference normal?

I will take another measurement after it is out, and on the workbench.
Will i need "the same" measure at install or would a close enough work as well?

I don't know on the honey fluid.

On the tie rods, are those measurements from the JY rack? At re-install you will want to replicate the measurements on the rack in your car, not the measurements on the JY rack. You know your car is driving well, so I would trust whatever measurements you get there.

The measurements are from the leaking rack on my car erikv11.

I will pick up four new screws and nuts from Vp this sat.
What are the steps for inserting the flange screws into the replacement rack?
