i have a 99 s70 and just recently noticed that my oil dipstick is rusted in color, and my transmission fluid is almost brownish.. the oil dipstick tube lets out some real light smoke while the car is on, and the dipstick its self has small bubbled on it, in the oil thats on the tip.

Replace the PCV system:

And do several drain-and-fills on the transmission fluid.

(If your car is a 5-speed automatic, use the Toyota Type IV fluid. If it's a 4 speed, use Dexron-III).

Then replace the O-ring on the oil dipstick.
