1994 Volvo, Lots of bad codes!

Post by Fish stick88 »

It was all going good for the past few months. Only issue I had the entire winter was a stuck gas pedal (again) and a dead battery, the battery issue has been fixed. The gas pedal, I am guessing moisture builds within the throttle body housing, and doesn't along the plate to close when it freezes.

Occasionally my car will idle down low, and go lower and lower into the 400-500rpm range, it feels bad and typically I will have to rev on my own to get it up.

Anyways, It was finally nice enough so I pulled codes..

Ports:
A1 - 114 Program selector open circuit or short circuit to supply - Does this cause any problems> haven't noticed anything really, but what does this involve and how can it be fixed?

A2 - 111 No Faults - Wooo! go car!

A3 - 444 No power supply to valves in Hydraulic unit - My abs works... as far as I know, wen I slam the breaks in ice it purges like it should.

A6 - 241 EGR system flow too low in system - I am assuming that this sensor is bad, We took it off a year or two ago and tried to clean it up. - Doesn't really show any symptoms that I know of.

A7 - 113 Fuel gauge open circuit - What does this do? 122 - Temp Sensor interval too long - I am not even sure what this is referring to...

B2, B5 - No Faults! Wooo!!

So... Anyone who can provide fixes to any of these earns gold stars! And the pleasure of knowing you helped someone else. Unfortunately I haven't had the time to post, or be on lately.

Thanks!
Speed has never killed anyone, suddenly becoming stationary... That's what gets you.

Clear all of the codes and see what comes back. The DTC is like an elephant, it never forgets a code unless it gets cleared and some of the codes may be from past problems that were just temporary or have since been fixed.
