1. New in-tank fuel pump installed (old one died)
2. Fuel pump relays work(2 of them)
3. Replaced ALL fuses in kick panel with correct amp fuses
4. Fuel Pressure Regulator (FPR) is working (no gas smell, wetness or leakage from diaphragm side of FPR)
5. Fuel rail is getting fuel (Which tells me the pump/relays both work fine)
6. Old IAC appeared dead(not humming but should have faint "humming" sound) tried one from the junkyard, same result, no "Humm"
7. Spark to the Coil (but could the coil itself be bad? how to tell?)
8. Spark to the plug wires
9. Brand new battery
10. Starter lights up and engages perfectly everytime
11. Ignition switch turns over fine (but could it still be bad?)
The symptom is simple, the car will turn over for about 2 whole seconds, then dies. MY DIY hunch is the IAC is the culprit (#6 above) but Any advice you guys can offer is much appreciated.
Car has been sitting the last 3 weeks because of this issue. sux
