96 850 Turbo - Identify part & routing hoses

Post by neworleans »

Hello All,

I am working on another project 850 turbo.
Can you all please help me identify the part #4 please? This thing is not attached to anything, just hanging in there and 3 small diameter hoses are connected as I numbered them 1, 2 and 3. I replaced number 1, number 2 is not connected to anything, is this supposed to be like that? And finally, number 3 goes all the way under the pcv nipple, what is the best way to reach that hose? Under the car?
My other question is, the hose oem part # is 976735 but can't find it to purchase, I need to buy 3-4ft to replace these two hoses, the one I replaced for number 1 was given to me from a friend and it was just enough to replace #1.

Thank you in advance...

that looks like the turbo control valve. it should have an electrical connection the 3 hoses going to the turbo charger.

Thanks for your input, yes it has an electrical connection but what I meant was that it is loose not bolted to anything.

It has a clip, goes or inserted around the air cleaner box.

Yes. I see the color coded dot next to a fitting.
color coding Dots will be on that module next to each fitting if you are fortunate.
