2006 V70 Pulls right after hiting sidewalk border

Post by elvels »

Hello!

After hiting a border of a sidewalk at a speed of 20mph, car is now pulling right.
What could be damaged?
Tires seems to be ok.

I made a scheme of exactly how i slided in there.
I think that the both tires hit the border.

Thank you already!

The side speed was quite high, there is a small chance some suspension parts (front or rear) have been bent.

But first check the geometry (front or rear): how does the car when keeping the steering wheel straight? Does the car go straight or sideways?

Also inspect the front control arm bushings with the wheels at full lock both sides

Svieks! (Or is that Estonia?)

I would check the front control arms for bends. These aren't hard to replace.

Check the wheels too..they could have simply taken all the energy.
