Yes, the two numbers on the hose are E87721 in big type and L-4358 in smaller type below the other number. Those are the only identifying marks on the hose (no manufacturer).erikv11 wrote:I see - misread your post as saying that you were planning to re-use the hard pipe.
Can you post a part number? A pre-formed hose is definitely the way to go for low-cost, worry free breather hose, we should collect up some of the part numbers that work well.98v70dad wrote: ... Its not quite a perfect match but its very close. The original part has a rubber bend of about 135 degrees on the drivers side end. On the part I pieced together the angle is a few degrees off but you can easily make up for it with the flexibility of the long part of the hose. I haven't installed it so I haven't called it successful yet...its a close match laying in the workbench though. It ended up costing about $15..about $10 for the hose and about $5 for the splice and clamps.
