1995 850t5 drivers side wet floor mat

Post by wardch »

Hi , I have searched lurked ,but no real answer to my dilemma. My 95 850t w/ 187000 mi which I have been bringing back from the beyond dead, has decided to leak on the drivers side carpeting. All three drains in the engine compartment are clean. The heater core is about 6 months old. The wet line starts about even with the bottom of the brake pedal when pushed to floor. Coolant level stays the same even though I think it is coolant. Its slippery like anti freeze. I have pulled back the carpet no leaks from the heater core. What am I missing? Thanks to all

Check the brake master-cylinder and that your brake fluid level is not dropping. If the seals fail brake fluid can leak into the brake booster and then drain into the floor area on the drivers side floor area.
