My buddy had a few V70's with bad window door switch packs. Instead of paying $185 for new assemblies, I cracked one open and got it working again.

There's threads in the Repair Database on exactly that Robert. For me the repair doesn't last and one or two of the contacts become piyted again.
New master switches from Amazon are $20. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001MOZ1C0/re ... 8ub0ZPA367
Just picked one up and opened it up because I thought the driver's switch was faulty as it didn't have the same "click"
Inside the design is totally new with toggle contacts that can easily be removed. 5 screws separate the upper bezel and rubber boots on the switches conceal the toggle contacts.
The driver's switch has a non-contacting design I can't access. Paint match is poor with a light silver coating. Overall lools like this is a long-term solution.
Suits LHD vehicles however with wiring diagrams I will convert my car's switch wiring to suit the RHD switch.

Yeah, people have been repairing those switch packs a long time, seems to meet with mixed success.
Based on Mike's post I just ordered one of the Amazon units from SwitchDoctor. $20 is pretty cheap, I will give it a try.

Keep us up to date with your switch Erik. Mine operates all the windows in reverse button deflection except for passenger side due to the RHD. Also my power mirrors have lost power probably because of all the mixed polarites.
