2009 XC90 TCS and low tire pressure?

Post by carboncow »

Looking at a used 2009 XC90 3.2L. Haven't hooked it up to vida dice yet but they will let me.

Noted that the tire pressure warning is "on" and what appears to be "TCS" at the same time with car idleing in the photo. Any thoughts?

I would not think low tire pressure would turn off the TCS system...or is that triangle warning in the lower right something else?

For the tire pressure thing, could be a tire with low pressure (check with a gauge), or the t press system might need a reset.

Thanks for your time but I think you are missing my point...of course we know what triggers a low pressure warning...but does it make sense to see the TCS come on at the same time? Is that even the TCS?

Volvo Owner's Manuals:
http://www.volvocars.com/us/top/yourvol ... es/om.aspx
page 145 explains it, you also need to check out the warning signal in center of dash.
