Help, Advice and DIY Tutorials on Volvo's P80 platform cars -- Volvo's 1990s "bread and butter" cars -- powered by the ubiquitous and durable Volvo inline 5-cylinder engine.
So in the quest to fix my cruise control I found the servo arm disconnected from my gas pedal and the connector completely missing...I ordered a new piece and screw but for the life of my I cannot figure out how to connect it to the back of the pedal...any one have an idea how this is setup? Apologies as I am typing this from my phone since my Internet is down. See attached pics...
Looking at Vida, it is not clear, but I would suggest the slotted shaft goes through the top of the pedal where it looks like a nut is from your picture.
The ball socket end should clip into the end of the shaft for the cruise control that should, I believe be just above it.
The picture I have for both auto and manual shows the bolt going through the hole in the middle of the assembly and I'm guessing is a stop screw or adjustment of some sort. The Vida picture shows the screw coming through from the back as we look at your picture.

Sorry for the delay, if you could get some pics that would be great but no rush! I have it together per what I could make of a part diagram I found and it seems to be working, which is good, I just want to make sure I have it absolutely correct.
