I'm replacing my cracked J-Hose (code P0442). I managed to pull the straight end of the J-Hose off the evap shut-off valve but the valve came off the mount and tumbled out.
Now I have no idea where the other hose is supposed to go. It's cracked and looks like it was attached somewhere but there's no clamp and I don't know what to do with it.
I'm attaching a picture - my question is where the straight hose attaches and what's on the other end. It's possible that my picture has the hose pointed in the wrong direction. The J-Hose loops around the canister and the other hose could go toward the passenger or driver side, not sure.
I read some posts that suggest it goes to a filter of some sort but I don't know where to look under the car.
Thanks,
Andrew

That took talent, (I've NEVER seen anyone do that), I'm glad you figured it out
