Redid my ABS module repair, which had failed on me after not many miles. The ABS light would usually be on after a little driving, and when not on, sometimes the ABS would kick in during non-skidding braking. So I re-did the soldering and did a more thorough job on the two wires from the module to the pump---the insulation had rotted away. This time I cut off the plastic cap on the pump so that I could get to those wires where they enter the pump; I wrapped them with electrical tape. An initial test drive was promising; the light stayed off and the ABS kicked in appropriately when braking hard with a tire over a manhole cover.

Today I met a forum member in my area with a 99 T5 S70 255K and helped him replace/repair his dash mounts, installed new front seats, and replaced recirc motor. Started at 11 AM finished at 7.
Did I win? I hate doing dash mounts.

thanks Mike - hadn't considered the tailgate
By the way - I have ditched the crappy amber bulbs and fitted silvered indicator (turn) bulbs - still glow amber. Get a better look on the front and rear clusters. £8 a pair in Halfords. Be sure to get the off centre pins on the bulbs - there are two types

Replaced the fuel filter. I had a heck of a time with removing the fuel lines. I finally got some better light in there and saw there are some plastic rings below the metal parts of the connectors, those are what need to be moved up into the connector to remove the fuel lines. I hated hacking up my car but it runs now

I detailed my wagon at my friends airport hangar. I worked on his 1963 Lincoln Continental.

I installed a Holly 750 in place of the original Carter. It is the manufacturers alternate recommendation.

It worked and he was very happy to have it running again.

That's a gorgeous car. I think you could fit an 850 in the trunk.

Still nibbling at my PCV and hose replacements. 30-60 minutes at a time since I have ip overseas company for three weeks.

I'm convinced the easiest way to remove OETTINGER clamps is with my favorite tool, Dr Dremel.

Trying to pick open the clamps on the small turbo hoses is absolutely nasty, with limited access for hands, tools, and back breaking to reach in the engine bay.

My OEM heater hoses are still in great shape so I will keep/ offer to someone restoring/ maintaining on a budget.
