If they aren't rusty/Knarly or getting hot, they are probably ok. It is possible to freeze on one side and often that's on the inside where you can't see without rolling under

Grooves in the rotors are usually caused by rocks getting caught in the pad, no big deal unless it is noisy. Someone could take the pads off and clean them and put the pads back on.

The parking brake problem can only be solved by removing the rear rotors, you need to find out why they don't work. It is possible that the pad material on the shoes is delaminating. New shoes are reasonably cheap even at the dealer.

Can I use a Nissen evaporator core and Air Products AC compressor if I need to get them replaced? Or are they one of those genuine Volvo parts only kind of product?
