99 S70 Base. Bad decision with aftermarket Radiator

A few months back, I accidentally broke the nipple off the top of my radiator. Bought a new aftermarket one, but my trans cooler lines didn't fit. Stupidly, I cut my lines and clamped hoses to them connecting to the radiator.

Looking something like this:

Today, I found a cut in one of the lines. Living in the middle of an Arizona summer, I know something needs to be done right away.

My question is---
Do I buy new trans cooler lines for my aftermarket radiator? (where can i find?)
Replace my hose with a hole in it? - Is this fitting bad for long term?

I like to think Im a mechanic and try to do as much as my own work as possible.

Any insight would be great.

Perfectly good double clamped fitting. Replace it as before. I don't think there is a ton of pressure on these lines

I found this pic on the internet. I only have single clamps on them but I guess I should do 2 because I always see/feel oil leakage. But regarding the life of my transmission, should I eventually replace it with new cooler lines? Everyday is 105 F+...

***EDIT : I should probably mention my Heater Core went out today. Coolant everywhere on the floor.

double clamping will help that seepage. Keep an eye on your ATF level, do drain and fills regularly, and drive like a normal person and enjoy your car.

You can get a cheap heater core on eBay but it must be cleaned or they stink up your car, check threads.

Transmission fluid leaks are causes of major auto fires. I would spring for a proper rad for under $200. Not worth the risk.

If there is enough hose, cut the bad section out and re-clamp it, if not, replace. Get only TRANSMISSION HOSE to replace.

I have no problem with mine.

Alright, so I need one of those barbed couplers too. I have been using heater hoses from autozone, but I will buy trans hoses. Is it okay to clamp the trans hose onto the lower metal hose (original trans cooler hose)? I found another site of leakage.

Get at least an inch of hose onto the metal tube, fitting snugly, then double hose clamp that inch, and you won't have seepage nor leakage.

Ok , thanks. Does the hose I need have the mesh looking insulation in it?
